DIMAS SUAREZ RODRIGUEZ
My long-term research career is framed within the framework of Computational Chemistry (CC). It started during my postgraduate stage working under the supervision of Dr. J.A. Sordo and Dr. T.L. Sordo (1993-1997), evolved during my post-doctoral stays at the laboratories of Dr. Kenneth M. Merz (1999-2001, Penn State University) and Dr. Martin Field (2002-2003, IBS-Grenoble), and finally consolidated as a "professor titular" in Physical Chemistry at the University of Oviedo. Since 2015 I work with Prof. Angel Martín Pendás in order to apply and enhance the interacting quantum atom (IQA) approach in the field of biomolecular modeling.
